Wer Fisch und Meeresfrüchte mag, ist entlang der Küste natürlich bestens aufgehoben. Hier wird der Fang frisch serviert – und ist im Vergleich zu Mitteleuropa noch relativ günstig. In der Casa Colmeia liegen zahlreiche Empfehlungen für erstklassige Restaurants aus. Im Folgenden drei unserer Favoriten:

Sabores do Campo
In der näheren Umgebung der Ferienunterkunft (in São Bras) kann man gut bei Sabores do Campo speisen. Dort trifft man auf eine freundliche Atmosphäre mit herzlichem Service. Bekannt für einfache, schmackhafte und gesunde Gerichte, lockt das Restaurant eine vielfältige Kundschaft an, darunter Einheimische, Expats und Touristen. Das beliebte Mittagsmenü ist mit ungefähr 12 Euro preiswert. Hauptgerichte kosten zwischen 13,50 und 17 Euro.
Das Restaurant ist zum Mittag- und Abendessen geöffnet, bleibt jedoch sonntags und montags geschlossen. Insgesamt erhält es gute Bewertungen für Qualität, Service, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und Atmosphäre.
Casa Corvo in Fuzeta
Casa Corvo ist der Hit, wenn es um frischen Fisch geht! Man kann es nur mögen. Sehr lecker ist der Fisch direkt vom Grill. Die Karte ist aber insgesamt sehr ansprechend, auch Fleischgerichte und vegetarische Optionen können bestellt werden. Das hübsche Geschirr sorgt für portugiesisches Flair. Das alles in entspannter Atmosphäre am Hafen von Fuseta bei absolut angemessenen Preisen. Das Restaurant ist der perfekte Stopp für ein leckeres Mittagessen ebenso wie für ein köstliches Dinner. Insgesamt ein wirklich empfehlenswerter Platz, um sich durch die besten Meeresleckereien zu schlemmen. Aber Achtung: Abends am besten vorab reservieren!
Maré Shrimp & Stuff in Olhão
Kleines, sehr nettes Lokal in einer Seitenstraße, ganz in der Nähe der Markthallen von Olhão. Das Restaurant punktet mit ausgezeichnetem Service und angenehmem Ambiente. Die Speisekarte des Maré Shrimp & Stuff ist sehr interessant und konzentriert sich auf portugiesische Spezialitäten. Der Fokus liegt natürlich auf Fisch und Meeresfrüchten, ganz besonders auf Garnelen. Etwas gehobenere Preise.
If you like fish and seafood, you are of course in good hands along the coast – here the catches are served fresh (and still relatively cheap compared to Central Europe). Casa Colmeia has numerous recommendations for recommended restaurants. Here are three of our favorites:
SABORES DO CAMPO
In the immediate vicinity of the vacation accommodation (in São Bras), you can dine well at Sabores do Campo. Here you will find a friendly atmosphere with warm service. Known for simple, tasty and healthy dishes, the restaurant attracts a diverse clientele, including locals, expats and tourists. The lunch menu is popular and reasonably priced, around 12 euros. Main courses cost between 13.50 and 17 euros.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, but is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Overall, it receives good ratings for quality, service, value for money and atmosphere.
CASA CORVO IN FUZETA
Casa Corvo is the hit when it comes to fresh fish! You can’t help but like it – very tasty fish, straight from the grill, nice dishes, an appealing menu, and all in a relaxed atmosphere at the port of Fuzeta. The prices are also great, perfect for a delicious lunch as well as in the evening – although it’s best to book in advance. All in all, a really recommendable place to feast on the best seafood delicacies, but there are also meat and vegetarian options.
MARE SHRIMP & STUFF IN OLHÃO
Small, very nice restaurant in a side street near the market halls of Olhão with excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. Mare Shrimp & Stuff has an interesting menu with Portuguese specialties, the focus is of course on fish and seafood, especially prawns. Slightly higher prices.
